Independent film - casting call in Los Angeles, California for 10 minute short to be developed into an hour-long program with potential to become an ongoing cable network series.

Producing a G rated feature film, Doggie Boogie.  We need extras (familys) for our dog dance arena days on 2/15/10.  This is a holiday and we need as many people as we can get.

producing a new film entitled; The Inn At The Mist, a ghost-story musical set in Victorian England.

Artists chosen will be asked to sign a non-binding letter of intent. On October 31st, 1870 on the coast of England in the town of Brighton, the Inn At The Mist burned to the ground. On October 31st, 1875, the Inn At The Mist has been reincarnated...

This haunting musical centers around the character, Mary Charles, the former keeper of the Inn At The Mist. Mary Charles is alive, but only in spirit. In life, Mary Charles witnessed many unfortunate events while "keeping" the Inn. Some of these events were of an evil nature.

Although she did not participate in these events, she did nothing to help. This is almost an equal sin. Therefore, she has been brought back into existance to redeem herself for her lack of intervention.

Mary Charles' counterpart is the coachman, Michael Gregory. At first glance, Michael Gregory appears to be a friendly, affable coachman who stumbles upon the Inn with a passenger, Jonathan Taylor - a man with a questionable past - seeking refuge from inclement weather. Actually, Michael Gregory is the personification of evil. He has, along with Mary Charles, orchestrated a union of four apparent strangers. His purpose is quite the opposite of Mary Charles, for as she is there to redeem herself and protect her arriving guests, he is there to collect their souls.

On every Hallow's Eve since the beginning of time, Michael Gregory has attempted to collect souls of the vulnerable. In addition to Jonathan Taylor, on this particular Hallow's eve, the other arriving guests include Brian Meddows and his fiancee, Priscilla White.

There is also the housekeeper, Millicent Graham, who has an unusual tie to the Inn and these guests. Neither Jonathan, Brian nor Priscilla are aware of what lies ahead for them on this stormy night. Almost immediately, each of the guests begin having strange experiences which they try to rationalize as the result of the storm;, voices, visions, moaning, singing and the general feeling of an unseen presence in the house.

Over the course of the evening, Brian finds out that he lived at this Inn as a child. He also realizes that this was the same place his Mother committed suicide after her husband abandoned her upon finding out that she was with child.

Jonathan is also suspicious that he has been to the Inn as well. Once he finds the name of the residence is the "Inn At The Mist", he realizes that this is where he murdered his concubine,

Clara Rogers, just 5 years earlier. As time passes and nerves become more frayed, Michael Gregory slowly reveales his intentions to the guests of the Inn. Simultaneously, Mary and Millicent reveal the previously held secret connections the guests have with each other. As Michael gregory manifests more and more of his power and evil intent, Mary Charles must face the decision as to whether to be a willing accomplice in Michael Gregory's demonic treachery or redeem herself by intervening in the salvation of those entrusted to her care. One last dramatic confrontation will decide who will triumph.

JONATHAN TAYLOR: Late 40s to 50s. Once wealthy landowner. Stern, bitter, driven. He has been a party to two sinful deeds. He has tried for years to keep them secret. So far he has been successful, until tonight. Baritone.

BRIAN MEDDOWS: 20s, poor, raised in an orphanage after his Mother, Beatrice Taylor, committed suicide when he was but 5 years old. He is the son of Jonathan Taylor, though neither of them know of this relationship. He is engaged to Priscilla White. Tenor.

BEATRICE TAYLOR: ghost, 30s. Was abandoned by her husband (Jonathan Taylor). Gave birth to son Brian. Went slowly insane and committed suicide when her son was 5 yrs old. Soprano.

CLARA ROGERS: late 20s, Beautiful but hard-hearted. Ran off with Jonathan Taylor. She too became disposable to Jonathan and was eventually murdered by him. She is seeking revenge. Soprano

PRISCILLA WHITE: early 20s. Innocent, nave, but strong. She is from a wealthy family, but gave it all up to be with Brian. Second soprano.

MILLICENT GRAHAM: housekeeper. 40s stern, standoffish and generally unpleasant. Her allegiances to good or evil are suspect. Alto

Price of Promotion” The Movie Casting Call

“Synopsis”

When bank employee Carl, is passed over for a long overdue promotion he learns there are other ways to get what you deserve

Carl Martin is well liked and respected at his job. He’s everyone’s favorite guy, except for one. His boss Mr. Coleman doesn’t believe in promoting based on merit but rather on skin color, and Carl’s isn’t the right one. Carl’s thinks this promotion is in the bag and begins to spend as though he already has the job, including purchasing a winter getaway for his family.

Meanwhile, the local syndicate kingpin, Mr. King asks his best enforcers Rudy and Bobby to take care of hiding $2 Million for him in plain sight. He trusts them to take care of his little problem but makes it clear they better take care of his money as if it were their lives. Because it is. Rudy takes it upon himself to take care of this problem for Mr. King, personally. Unfortunately, he makes the wrong choice when choosing a bank.

Things go from bad to worse when these two worlds collide. Ultimately we discover the true Price of Promotion.

The down-home Jolene, slightly younger, and a dedicated life-long fan, has a secret and finally decides to declare herself. Whilst trying to help the inconsolable James, the divorced Storm Heart, missing his estranged wife, Shell Flower, comes to terms with being separated from the two people he loves most.

Description: PrettyGirlz Entertainment will be holding auditions on March 14, 2009 for the film Crack Addicts Wife based on the award-winning book Diary of a Crack Addicts Wife.

This film tells the story of a womans three year rollercoaster ride with the addict she loved: the stealing, the lying, the betrayals, the bursts of violence, and how she gained the courage to stand through it all and survive to tell the story.

[PAUL] (Mid 50’s to early 60’s) A loud mouth but lovable club owner with a passion for 70’s suits often accompanied by open shirt collars and gold chains. Paul has a heavy-set figure and the attitude of a ‘wanna-be gangster’ but his good-hearted nature makes him often the victim of astute cunning by his long time “friend”, Captain Monroe. ITALIAN OR MEDITERRANEAN TYPE – SUPPORTING. (NOTE: the role works April 25th, 28th and May 3rd)

[GIULIA] (Early to late 60’s) She is a wealthy and erudite patron of the arts who carries herself like a spoiled teen-aged starlet. She uses her high-pitched voice to pontificate about all the subjects within her grasp. Giulia mixes her aristocratic attitude with a perverse sense of humor. CAUCASIAN – SUPPORTING. (NOTE: the role works March 30th, April 3rd, 4th and May 3rd)

[LEO] (Late 50’s to 60’s) A prominent and ruthless art critic. Despite his short stature and frail looks Leo is as fierce as a Tiger when it comes to any type of confrontation. He expresses his opinion in a dogmatic manner and leaves no place for further critique of his ideas. He is confident of the fact that whoever disagrees with him does it out of ignorance. CAUCASIAN – SUPPORTING. (NOTE: the role works April 3rd, 4th and May 3rd)

[MR. HARVEY] (Mid to late 50’s) He is a very powerful record producer who is willing to do anything to make sure things go his way. Being notably overweight does not prevent him from always looking extremely professional and sharp. For this role we will also consider slim actors with a commanding personality. CAUCASIAN. GREY HAIRED PREFERRED (NOTE: the role works April 3rd, 4th and May 3rd)

[GYPSY WOMAN] (Mid to late 50’s) She is a fast-talking street smart fortune teller. She lives on the street and knows how to entice passersby with pity when begging for money. Her hunting eyes appear as though to pierce the soul of the interlocutor. MUST BE ABLE TO DO/HAVE A THICK EASTERN EUROPEAN ACCENT. (NOTE: the role works April 30th)

[YOUNG DAGOBERT] (8 to 13 years old) He is a very inquisitive child always in search for an answer to his questions. LIGHT BROWN HAIR AND BROWN EYES. MUST BE OR LOOK ITALIAN. (NOTE: the role works April 29th, 30th and May 1st)

[OLD MAN] (60’s to 70’s) An AFRICAN AMERICAN man with a white and black patchy beard living in a cardboard box in a parking lot. He is not a bum but rather a sage living a care free life, always ready to give philosophical advice. ACTOR MUST BE ABLE TO IMPROVISE. (NOTE: the role works March 23rd and 24th)

[ROSE] (Late 30’s to Early 40’s) She lives in a dream world and is not very much aware of her surroundings. She is a tall and voluptuous woman whose image would probably have appeared on the cover of adult magazines ten to fifteen years ago. Apart from her large lips she resembles an older version of a Barbie doll. CAUCASIAN (NOTE: the role works March 19th, April 3rd, 4th and May 3rd)

[SANDY] (Early to mid 20’s) A young and attractive girl with a strange verbal eloquence which is in contrast with her provocative looks and outfit. She cries in desperation over the death of someone dear to her. ANY ETHNICITY (ROLE HAS BEEN CAST)

[TRACY] (Early to mid 20’s) She is a very tall AFRICAN AMERICAN girl with a singing voice that can make the windows tremble. This character has no dialogue apart from an elaborate vocal performance in an attempt to showcase her talent to the man who promised to make her dream come true. Actor must be able to sing slightly off pitch in a loud and commanding manner. A singing talent is not required, just the willingness to sing. (NOTE: the role works April 21st and possibly May 3rd)

[BARNEY] (Late 30’s early 40’s) A goofy and sensitive member of a support group that is willing to pour his heart out to anyone willing to listen. His round face and pudgy shape give him the ability to make people really feel for him. CAUCASIAN (NOTE: the role works April 11th)

[SKINNY GIRL] (Early to late 20’s) The model type, wearing a tank top, platform shoes, and a miniskirt when she waltzes into the Captain’s office to hand him an envelope. ANY ETHNICITY. (NOTE: the role works March 17th and possibly May 3rd)

[RAUL] (30’s to 40’s) A loyal member of the road crew of a music band. Raul and his brother Marco do everything together but Raul is clearly in charge of all decisions. HISPANIC. (NOTE: the role works April 21st and 25th)

[MARCO] (30’s to 40’s) Works with his brother Raul in the road crew of a music band. HISPANIC. (NOTE: the role works April 21st and 25th)

[PRIEST] (Late 50’s to early 60’s) A grey-haired handsome man with a stern appearance. A serious expression is always present on his face but his manners are very friendly. CAUCASIAN. (NOTE: the role works May 3rd)

[DOCTOR] (40’s) An amiable and professional doctor with a compassionate face and balding blond hair who is often the bearer of bad news to the relatives of the patients in his hospital. CAUCASIAN. (NOTE: the role works April 22nd)
